Tesla Model 3 Standard Range (SR)

The Model 3 SR is the cheapest variant out there for the Model 3. It is an RWD (rear-wheel drive) electric car with only one electric motor powering the whole car. It features a 62 – kWh battery with a range of about 500 km, has a top speed of 225 km/h, and goes 0 – 100 km/h in about 5.3 seconds. The Model 3 SR comes equipped with 18” Aero wheels with the possibility to upgrade to 19” Sport Wheels for an extra cost. A Model 3 Standard Range in the Nordics costs about 54000€.

Tesla Model 3 Long Range (LR)

The Model 3 LR looks almost the same as an SR, but the biggest difference is, that it’s Four-Wheel Drive and it has an 82 – kWh battery. This helps people living in the northern atmosphere, where there are multiple seasons. The continuous four-wheel drive digs through the snow like nothing! It has two motors powering the car and goes 0 – 100 km/h in about 4.2 seconds. As the name says, Long Range has also a bigger battery that helps the range reach up to 600 km with the top speed being about 233 km/h. The Model 3 LR comes equipped with 18” Aero wheels with the possibility to upgrade to 19” Sport Wheels for extra cost just like the Standard. A Model 3 LR in the Nordics costs about 65000€.

How to spot the differences afar? Tesla Model 3 LR has “Dual Motor” written on the back while SR has nothing but the Tesla logo on the back.

Tesla Model 3 Performance

The Model 3 Performance is the most luxurious version out of the three. It features a top speed of about 261 km/h, a range of about 550 km, and an acceleration of 3.1 seconds with the same 82 – kWh battery as the Model 3 Long Range. How crazy is that! Just like the Model 3 LR, it features a Four-Wheel Drive with a dual-motor setup! The Model 3 performance comes with some upgrades, that the previous two Models can only dream of! It comes equipped with 20” Überturbine wheels, Performance brakes that are bigger and more efficient, a carbon fiber spoiler, and aluminum alloy pedals. The Model 3 Performance in the Nordics costs about 69000€.

How to spot the differences afar? Tesla Model 3 Performance has also “Dual Motor” written on the back, together with an underlining red line. Performance models also have a carbon fiber spoiler tail.
